Norreskogs Icelandic horses are just 10 minutes away from Woodland Cottage and offer 3 hour rides with a stop for a picnic. There is a choice of golf, football golf and miniture golf in the area.
In Höör you can visit Skånes zoo with approximately 800 animals from Scandinavia, representing 85 species.
There are traditional stately homes with attractive gardens and ancient cultural settings.
You will find Bosjökloster Mansion 10 km away from Woodland Cottage. The mansion was a Benedictine Monastery in 1080-1536. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park which boasts a 1000 year old oak tree and lovely manicured gardens.
As always in Skåne there is good food which includes local produce from the forests and lakes.
